Newyorkrangers.com announced that Mike Keenan will join MSG’s telecast team as a regular guest analyst for pregame, intermission and postgame reports on the network.Keenan will make his debut this weekend, appearing Opening Night.
...let's hope the hiring of Keenan means the firing of Goring and Daneyko.

I will always love Keenan for helping to bring the cup to New York and I look forward to seeing him this season on MSG (yes, anyone is better than Daneyko and Goring).
Still, it's funny how things work out. After running out on the Rangers and accomplishing absolutely nothing in his coaching and managing stints since, you gotta think there's a little poetic justice here with Keenan coming back to MSG as a lowly guest analyst.
