Gilroy Surprised By Trust

When asked by Andrew Gross of Ranger Rants whether there was anything that’s surprised him so far this season, Matt Gilroy responded...

“Yeah, how much they’ve trusted me.”

Gross adds that despite all the talk about how good Marian Gaborik has been, the addition of Gilroy and fellow rookie Michael Del Zotto to the blue line corps have had perhaps the biggest impact because their offensive-minded play.

...the Rangers took a leap of faith with these two and are reaping the rewards big time. Now the only question is how they'll hold up through a grueling 82 game schedule. The Olympic break should help.
