Ranger Trio Looking Good to Make Team USA

Allan Muir at SI.com takes a look at the players competing for roster spots on Team USA and Team Canada for this year's Olympics, including three Rangers trying to impress Team USA brass...

Under the heading "Stitch His Name On A Sweater":

Ryan Callahan: Exactly what you want in an Olympian -- smart, fast and gritty. He's trailed only Marian Gaborik as New York's most important forward.

Chris Drury: Veteran leadership and a history of coming through in the clutch ensure he'll be there.

...i tell you what if Callahan doesn't start to pick up his game offensively they might start removing those stitches.

Under the heading "Making A Case":

Brandon Dubinsky: The Rangers' top center can't match Gomez's resume, but he's much more physical. Sounds like a Burke player...plus he'll have assistant coach John Tortorella in his corner.

...Dubinsky has played himself into contention with a hot start, hopefully his play will continue to put the pressure on Brian Burke to add him to the roster.
