Andrew Gross at Ranger Rants has this quote from John Tortorella on Marian Gaborik's timetable for a return to the line-up...“He won’t be playing tonight,” Tortorella said. “And, again, I’m not going to get into explaining his injury but it is not anything from prior as everybody is always worried about and certainly we are are. But, no, I’m not concerned. We’ll keep him out tonight. I have no idea (when he’ll return)."
...i'm worried that the Rangers are being so secretive about the injury. Which looks like its to the knee. I also read somewhere that NHL Live (XM radio) was reporting that Gaborik needed additional testing to determine the extent of the injury.
As I posted earlier P.A. Parenteau will be replacing Gaborik in the line-up.
Gross also reports, via Twitter, that Donald Brashear will miss his fourth game in the last seven with a possible hand/wrist injury, meaning Aaron Voros will be back in.
