16 years ago tonight, Mark Messier made good on his Game 6 guarantee by scoring a hat trick to force a Game 7 against the Devils which eventually led to the Rangers first Stanley Cup in 54 years.

...i still get chills watching this. Man I wish the Rangers were good again. Makes me that much more angry with what we have to deal with right now as Ranger fans.
