Andrew Gross at Ranger Rants reports that Sean Avery (knee) participated in the morning skate but was wearing a white, non-contact jersey.Gross thinks he's a strong possibility for Thursday at Washington.
...with the way the team is playing no need to rush Avery back. I'd rather they wait till his knee is 100% than force him back early.

I still get excited about Gaborik, I'm so excited to finally have a talent that this team has lacked since Jagr. How stupid were we to think Zherdev would replace him (although I was a Zherdev fan the entire season). Gaborik will be healthy this year and will shut up the critics, but first he has to burn Lemaire tonight in Jersey. Looking forward to it!
