Rangers Sign the Next Holmstrom

Dubi at the Blueshirt Bulletin reports...

"So you'd like to have Tomas Holmstrom on your team to camp out in front of the net, screen goalies, score on deflections and rebounds? Well, Detroit's not giving him up and he's getting up there in years. But the Rangers have now signed another Swedish player, Andreas Jamtin, who was compared favorably to Holmstrom by the scout who drafted both players for the Detroit Red Wings."

...Dubi goes on to say that the Swedish newspaper which reported this is known to get things wrong so we'll have to wait and see.

Dubi also reports that Russian Super League team Avangard Omsk GM Anatoly Bardin has left for the Czech Republic to meet with Jaromir Jagr.
