The Fourth Period is reporting..."When Sean Avery hits the open market July 1, the Dallas Stars are expected to be one of the teams set to offer him a contract.
According to the New York Post, Stars co-GM Brett Hull is high on Avery and will pursue him. Avery lived with Hull when they were teammates in Detroit."
...since the source for this is Larry Brooks (see Post article here), I'm not too concerned. Although, this is the second report I've seen linking Avery with the Stars. Here's the other one.
