Tortorella Alienating Players?

Steve Zipay at Blue Notes reports on whispers that John Tortorella’s confrontational style and head-scratching personnel decisions have alienated some players...

"A few people close to the team are privately suggesting that as possible; naturally, no player has publicly voiced a complaint. Others argue that the personnel simply does not fit the Tortorella blueprint."

...this is the problem with Torts in your face style. When things are going good, players deal with it becaus they're winning, but once things start going south, players get real tired, real quick with Torts' antics.

...i think the final statement could be the biggest problem with this team. They are not built for this system. Not enough snipers and solid defensemen.

I said this last season when everyone wanted renney out and for tortorella to save he season....his in your face style gets old really fast....he has dine nothin for this team... They crawled into the playoffs.... He lost the series with his antics and handleing of Avery.... Thi season has done nothing to get this team to play hard on a night to night basis.... Most mistakes made are things that are coachable...

Yeah. I hope everyone remembers last year's playoffs. Torts made that series about Torts. Too much b.s...then he flipped the script on Avery. Lame.

...but I'm not giving up this team.
