"When you subtract the bookkeeping goals the league awards to teams that win shootouts (in the Rangers’ case, two) and use only those goals scored during regulation and overtime, the Slovakian wingman has accounted for 25.5 percent of all the Rangers’ goals."
Steven Stamkos of the Tampa Bay Lightning is second with 23.3%.
...i can't even imagine the degree of horribleness that would be the New York Rangers offense if Gaborik wasn't on the team. They might have broken records.

I'd like break that stat down even further to see how many of his goals were game changing. I'd say 99% of them. So...worst than last place.
Calling the rangers a 1-man team is unfair. They are a 4-man team: Prospal, Gaborik, Lundqvist and Del Zotto. Go figure why.
I would say it's a two-man team. Gaborik and Lundqvist. The rest are either crap or still maturing.
