John Dellapina at the Blueshirts Blog reports...Before boarding their flight for Pittsburgh this afternoon, the Rangers were given some uplifting news: Sean Avery has been released from the intensive care unit and moved into a regular room at St. Vincent’s Hospital.
Avery is expected to remain in the hospital for several more days while recovering from the lacerated spleen he suffered in Tuesday night’s Game 3 of the Rangers’ Eastern Conference semifinal series with the Penguins.

According to Sam Weinman at the Rangers Report its likely that Jason Strudwick will again be in the line-up over Christian Backman for Game 5
