I kind of like this one, its well done. Does the job.
ReplyDeleteI'm not good with creating banners etc. However, If I was, I would re-create the "new york rangers blog" word-mark in the diagonal lettering of the jersey. the blue background behind it would look like jersey material.

ReplyDeleteUp until now I like this banner the best. I like the bit of typography that's in it :)
ReplyDeleteHowever some of the text is not so very readable, the title has blue on blue which makes it a bit less stand out.
The subtitle on the right doesn't read well either, it may be the font?
Though on the whole the banner shows what it should show. The logo is sharp & comes forward very well, the colours are the NYR colours, and the white background with blue spots gives it that cold icy touch. me likes!
and one more nitpicking comment: (there's only one stanley cup right? :p)

ReplyDeleteExcellent job however I still like the first one the best. I like the 4 cups representing our 4 cup wins but we are too far removed from winning a cup to have them so big now.

RIght, cups are great and all but only flaunt 'em if your the Habs or a team with a dozen or more.
